Tifway 419 Bermuda Grass
Tifway 419Bermuda Grass is a hybrid table grass developed specifically for sports applications such as golf courses, soccer fields, baseball fields and other sports-related camps.
It has a nice dark green color, it has a vigorous and fast growth with high resistance to desiccation and to diseases: which means long life for your carpet with less maintenance requirements.
Combinand resistance and beauty Tifway 419 has been the most popular turf in the last 40 years thanks to its high recovery capacity in case of damage.
It is resistant to temperatures above 38 degrees C and can become dormant in the case of unusual frosts, but it recovers quickly when the temperature warms up.
It is also resistant to poor water quality and drought.
With a minimum weekly availability of 25-50mm of actual water, grass production will be acceptable.
It also has a high resistance to weeds and easily tolerates applications of selective broadcasting of herbicides. Finally, with the exception of some insects, Tifway shows tolerance and rapid recovery from damage after disinfestation treatments.
